Mamey Sapote
This Mamey Sapote is just over a year old in this photo, it is in a pot (as you can see) I sprouted this from a seed from a fruit from Tropical Fruit World in Duranbah NSW. I am in Queensland. It is overall very healthy, it loves a deep watering every couple of days (that pipe you can see in the photo helps me get water down into the roots straight away helping assure me all the water gets down there rather than sitting in the top layer of soil).

Theobroma Cacao
This is my Theobroma cacao, this tiny plant will be producing one of the worlds favourite food in about 3 years (hopefully). CHOCOLATE. Well at least the raw natural unprocessed chocolate. The chocolate you find in store is made with cocoa (this is C-A-C-A-O) which technically cocoa does have cacao in it but it is dominated by other ingredients. This tree was planted from seed on the 22/08/25 (have a look at the white tag in the photo). The seller I bought it off is very good with keeping track of everything. Again it is in a pot, It was sprouted from seed which was that process was conducted by the seller of this plant. It LOVES HEAT but not direct sun when young and it NEEDS high humidity and little cold to survive and thrive.

Jaboticaba
My jaboticaba tree is of a unknown age. It hasn’t fruited yet but I’m sure its getting close, It is a tropical to sub-tropical tree so it loves it where I am here in the sub-tropics – not to picky on water mostly but its a fine line when in comes to watering in certain occasions. Jaboticabas can take years to mature; see my researched guide to jaboticaba fruiting age and problems. https://averysacres.com.au/jaboticaba-not-fruiting

JakFruit
1 word TROPICAL. This tree is from the tropics and there is no convincing it other wise, Hates heat, LOVES water. The cold is a crime worthy of execution in its eyes (mainly because the cold is mostly the biggest contributing factor to JakFruit tree deaths). SAP, SAP AND MORE SAP – if you don’t like the feeling of very sticky sap on your hand or even clothes don’t even think about going near this cause if you even just knock 1 leaf off – a pretty decent amount of sap will come out and the bigger the damage the more sap.

Grumichama
You know what this plant is kind of mysterious to me and I cant form much of a opinion on it. Age unknown (I got this off a gardening friend). Not overall fussed on water just fit it in with your regular watering, can handle part shade. Grows relatively slow for me – might just be because I don’t fully understand it.

Moringa
